Shinoda has announced in his blog that a new [LP] song will be released May 18! I can't wait! I'm pretty sure this is the one he was referring to that would be in Transformers 2.

A short film I found on Digg today. I thought the idea was pretty amazing.

And Yet It Moves

Just found this game on Gamespot. I've been playing the demo for only a few minutes and already it's awesome. The animation of the player is too cool. Check it out here.

iPod touch idea

I've been thinking of something for a while, mainly whenever I plug my iPod Touch in but I've finally remembered to blog about it. It's barely an idea but for some reason Mac didn't think of it, but when I plug in my iPod the brightness should go to full and when I unplug it, it should go back to what it was set to, just like with laptops. It's a pain in the ass to come home and have the brightness turned down, then plug my iPod in and have to go into the settings and change the brightness. Sounds lazy, but a simple auto change would be nice, also I have lots of Apps that would be cool to run while my iPod is plugged in like the digital clock.

Not much going on today, it rained out all day which is good but now it's snowing again. I really can't wait for the weather to just change already. The transitions between seasons are so slow that it seems like they dont even happen, all the seasons are just blended into one. I spent most of the day working in Photoshop and a bit on Flash. I found a great intro tutorial for beginners here. Already though the codings pretty hard for me, I seriously don't know if I'll ever be able to get it or how the hell anyone else does it. I've learned Turing and Java in the past and barely understood it, and if you were to ask me to do anything with them now I wouldn't be able to, I can't remember a damn thing. Photoshop isn't too hard but making shiny buttons and stuff over and over is getting kind of boring, I need somewhere to get some feedback or something, like a forum or something.

Fuck, I need a social life.

toasting your screen & "songs that make you feel better"

Got a call from Myths & Mirrors today, and they want me to be part of the board! This is a pretty big thing for me, I just joined around 4 weeks ago or so and I already feel involved. Definitely cool to be part of a big project and get to hang out with suck awesome people. :)

Aside from that today wasn't too eventful. A friend linked me to an awesome site that can be found here. I tested out the recording and its amazing, really nice HD, I can't wait to make use of it, maybe Photoshop tutorials? I'm still working on Photoshop a lot, trying to dig out all the parts I've ignored or not learned and learn them. I'm also leaning in on Flash a bit, not getting to close to coding though, that's always been really hard for me. I don't know what I plan on doing with all this graphic design stuff but I really don't feel like drawing for a while, really tired myself out from drawing too much before and I figure I should find out what I like.

Another site I found today, "songs that make you feel better". Pretty chill mix of great songs. Check it out :) Link

rotoscoping & useful Photoshop links :)

I've finally learned what rotoscoping means and how it is done today in my media class. Still testing out different ways to do it, so far sticking to flash. If I can't get it to work in time or it just isn't interesting me then I'll probably be doing a claymation video instead.

I worked a bit more today on Photoshop. I worked on a different style of shiny web buttons I found in a tutorial online, it can be found here. Unfortunately the english isn't the best, I kind of got lost at the end but was able to guess and do it myself. For anyone who's interested, I've posted some tutorials I've found around the net, a lot of which I found on StumbleUpon. :) I found them all pretty useful.
